Saoirse McKinney

Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, Cupping Therapist and Nada Training

Hi, I am Saoirse McKinney. “As an advocate for preventive healthcare, I am passionate about empowering individuals to prioritise their well-being proactively. Whether it's alleviating musculoskeletal issues, supporting women's health & fertility, or promoting relaxation and stress reduction, my goal is to facilitate holistic healing journeys that lead to a better quality of life”.

I am committed to providing my patients with the best possible care using acupuncture, sports massage, auricular acupuncture, and therapeutic massage. The beauty of working with me is that you get a personalised treatment specific to your needs. I understand you just want to feel better and regain control of your life.

I am aware that pain can dominate and take a toll on your life; that is why I am dedicated to working with people suffering from musculoskeletal issues. I help people move towards a life of reduced pain, enhanced mobility, and improved well-being for a better quality of life.

I am passionate about supporting women who want to improve their health and cycles to optimise fertility. Empowering women through education and choices is at the heart of what I do. Whether you are trying to conceive naturally, are feeling overwhelmed with emotions and testing, or are going through the process of IVF, I can help support you on this journey.

What ultimately drew me to become an acupuncturist is my innate compassion and desire to help others, along with my unwavering belief in the body's capacity for healing. Acupuncture is systematically balancing, and I’m eager to bring forward its power to help people not only get better from their ailments but also prioritise their health in a preventative way.

My passion for serving others led me to embark on a volunteering experience in India with World Medicine, where I dedicated three weeks to providing free acupuncture treatments to local villagers in deprived areas. Witnessing the positive impact of our efforts on these resilient individuals was an experience that has truly left an indelible mark on my heart and further inspired my commitment to the practice of acupuncture. I also assist in the teaching of point location classes at the Northern College of Acupuncture, which is a great opportunity to encourage the soon-to-be acupuncturists to keep going; they will make it, and they won’t look back! I regularly attend courses to develop my knowledge and skills in acupuncture / relevant areas to support you further.
