My job is about much more than placing needles. I understand the pain, stress and frustration of searching for answers to your health issues because I’ve walked alongside you with my own.

And that’s what led me to Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Having suffered for years with unexplained gut issues, I tried acupuncture for IBS and I was blown away by the results. I’d always worked in the health industry, working as a therapist and specialising in treatments like sports and deep tissue massage. I knew the human body. But acupuncture opened up a whole new world of healing and a far deeper understanding of my own body.

Acupuncture revolutionised how I was able to live my life and I wanted to do the same for others. So I retrained as an acupuncturist. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. I completed a further year’s training in Tui Na, and am a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Acupuncture allows me to use my existing knowledge of the body and develop an even deeper understanding to be able to treat a wide variety of health conditions.

I can treat you, yes. But I can also put a hand on your shoulder, listen and really hear you. When you sit in the chair and tell me your pain, I’ve lived it. When you tell me your weaknesses I’ve been there. When you’re desperately searching for answers, I’ve been in the dark with you.

As well as offering traditional acupuncture methods, including cupping, Tui Na and cosmetic acupuncture, I also support you to better gut and hormone health through my Functional Medicine practice, offering laboratory testing, gut healing and hormonal health programmes.
